We fly the french made, Air Cre­ation Tanarg 912 Kitew­ings. Our trikes are state of the art, with industry-proven Rotax 912 normally-aspirated, air– and water-cooled, horizontally-opposed, four-cylinder, four-stroke, gear reduction-drive engines.

Neil has over 10 years of flight expe­ri­ence in kitewings

At Tou­can Fly our first con­sid­er­a­tion is safety. We fly only cer­ti­fied air­craft and all of our pilots have years of expe­ri­ence. Our pilots are both cer­ti­fied flight instruc­tors and cer­ti­fied air­craft mechan­ics, so rest assured that your safety is our top priority.

Our pilots are pre­pared to offer you a flight of a life­time. We will make no attmept to impress or scare you. Whether you pre­fer a sim­ple straight and level flight or a flight with a lit­tle more excite­ment, just let us know, your wish is our command!

Neil became a Pri­vate Pilot in 1984 and has been involved with Kite Wing air­craft for 10 years. He is a Cer­ti­fied Flight Instruc­tor and a Cer­ti­fied Air­craft Mechanic in Kite Wing aircraft.

In addi­tion, Neil is a Pilot Exam­iner, he tests and issues pilot licenses for the FAA.

Our oper­a­tions are closely depen­dent upon weather con­di­tions. We mon­i­tor wind con­di­tions, cloud cover and the fore­casts of local area weather report­ing sta­tions. Please con­tact us prior to your sched­uled flight so that we may inform you of any weather con­di­tions and to give you sug­ges­tions for what you should wear on your flight.

Gen­eral attire for your flight is sim­ple, come as you are. How­ever when you get to the hangar you will want to secure any loose cloth­ing, empty your pock­ets of any items that may fall out dur­ing flight, remove jew­elry, and stow loose fit­ting items (flip-flops, etc.).
